i got earthrise ironworks along with my factory error cliffjumper (which is currently in a special place). i played around with ironworks for a bit, and i must say, this is one of my favorite earthrise figures to date.

two big reasons why is that for one thing, he can be rebuilt from ironworks base, to attack base, to bot. and you can give him more modes than just those three. another reason is (and most importantly) his compatability. he can work with many small toys, i decided to get out my minis for this, but you can use other small toys as well, and even some slightly bigger ones like thomas adventures. this is my favorite aspect about ironworks that will make him a well-desired and timeless figure.

needless to say, i'm glad to have ironworks in my collection.
