Thank you so much! It's hard, but really interesting!
Genuine leather is very similar to paper. Very hard and thick paper. And I love paper very much. * _ *
These are Bracers for theatrical performance. "The story of Beren and Lúthien." Tolkien. Now I want to make Bracers for myself, for a bow. I want to use Boromir's Bracers for this. I love it very much.:3

Good story. (Although I don't know it myself and read the description in Wikipedia).
I don't work professionally with leather or anything like that. Several times I had to make several belts, a bracelet for a communicator, holsters for weapons and knives, and various trifles from friends order.

In the end, you will do better. You're an artist, you can come up with something new - I mostly did only utilitarian and functional things without any decorations.
The main requirement was the convenience and strength of the finished product.
If you learn to use a sewing machine or something similar that can make straight or curly stitches, the rest is just a matter of practice.
First, a combined watch strap or a belt holster for a phone - then, a leather top made of soft leather with embroidery, anything is possible...
