I'm thinking it's going to be the two of them trying to screw eachother over when they try to babysit the three of them, also the dynamic a person who's secretly being on the dealing with the verge of temptation of being AB/DL babysitting a group of four year olds still wearing diapers (which could mean they're having trouble with potty training or they don't want to) makes some good pressure for Star, don't you think?
I was discussing this the other day, that actually theres a suprising surge in 4-5 year olds still in nappies. Research seems to suggest its not nessecarily lazy parenting and more because modern nappies are so good at being absorbant and locking the wetness away that kids struggle with the potty training cause they dont know they're wet. Its becoming quite a problem with kids actually getting to school age and not being potty trained so teachers also having to teach and deal with that too.
I also read that it's due to modern working hours being too long (even though we are more productive than ever and wages been going down in realist terms since the 80's... but let's not start talking about how sucky neoliberalism is or we won't get to the end of it) so parents ain't at home long enough to potty train the kids. not that I'm complaining that we get bigger and bigger baby nappies, it make it easier for me to fit them after all ;)
I'm not sure if absorbancy is the whole story because I've seen multiple newspaper articles about this in UK newspapers over time https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/.....l-nappies.html but so far I haven't seen any in US newspapers and one would think that absorbancy would be the same in both places. One person quoted in another article said that the preschool her 3 year old daughter attended sabotaged her daughter's potty training. If the child was under 3 I'd say it was too early to start to begin with but starting them at age 3 is what experts seem to agree on. Of course all this is is my uninformed opinion as a US resident.
I wasn't going to bring it up, but since you're discussing it anyway, I'll throw in.
For decades in Britain and the US it was generally accepted that children who were toilet trained early were more intelligent than those who didn't. It was seen as an early indicator of a high I.Q. Therefore, for many parents, it became a kind of status symbol to potty train their kids as early as possible. A kind of "my kid's smarter than yours" thing. It was common to begin potty training at 2 years old, in some cases even as young as 14 months!
Now days however, this is known not to be the case. Many of those who have high I.Q. scores wore diapers until the ages of 4 or 5, sometimes even older. This has (at least here in the US) caused many parents to start deliberately putting off toilet training until after the age of 3 or 4 because they think it will make their children smarter.
Personally, I don't believe that when a child is toilet trained affects their intelligence one way or the other.

Another bit of information is that in the 90's, parenting experts began to really push to allow children to potty train in their own time, because pushing them to train too early can have damaging consequences for them, in many cases fostering anxiety and compulsive behaviors. Nowadays child psychologists say that you should let them tell you when they're ready to train, and don't fight them on it.
I understand how a parent, trying to live up to their parents expectations, can really take it out on you. Your grandfather, as SAS, has my respect for making it into that unit, one of the best special forces in the world. However, belittling your father for being 1Para is pure nonsense. He should have been proud of him.
Of course, as their granddaughter and daughter, *I* am VERY PROUD of you simply for being you and what you are, and what you do. You are very special in your own way that probably neither one of them could understand.
How many world-wide followers did either one of THEM have? LOL Point for the Sqynx!

I disagree... I know a lot of people like physical age regression and I'm not knocking that at all, but one of my favorite things about Shine is that it's a far more realistic story about adults engaging in ageplay (consensually or otherwise...) I'd be disappointed if Star added magic regression to it. There are plenty of comics about that.
This is, of course, just my opinion, and I would never suggest my opinion is more valid or important than anyone else's... But for me part of the fun of the kink is the embarrassment and risk of getting caught as an adult in a diaper/nappy. When a person is physically regressed to the point of actually needing one, a lot of that goes away for me - it's not embarrassing to need a diaper when, to everyone else's eyes, you're actually an infant. Now, again, I know a lot of people like regression and that is ok, and I want to stress I'm in no way judging or knocking that kink. But as someone who prefers stories about adults I have been really glad Shine existed, because stories about adults like Shine seem a lot more rare, and if it stopped being about adults, I'd probably lose interest.

Magic doesnt exists in Shine world so theres no worry of that. We get regression kicks from dream sequences and that's where they'll stay LOL.
Age regression is like...one of my favourite things ever but it really just wouldnt work for this story, I was borderline going to ban characters who had wings too as that seemed a bit of a stretch for the Shine universe, but kinda chilled out on that

No, I don't think it came off as selfish! More just...
When I see someone saying they're disappointed in the way a story is going, and I like the way it's going, I just want to voice the opposing viewpoint, because I want the artist to feel supported in the direction they chose to take the story. I wasn't responding to argue with you, I was responding just to let BabyStar know that I enjoy and appreciate the direction she's taking the story so she can hear both viewpoints and feel supported. Not that I think you were being negative, I just know it can be easy to interpret comments that aren't meant to be negative in ways that feel negative when you're the creator of something and it's important to you, so I just wanted to give Star that voice of support. Does that make sense?

Yuri would do well to take stock of his situation...
He's outnumbered 4 babies to 1, with one of his opponent a near-peer opponent. Declaring war from such a weak position is hardly a good idea... unless there's some ace up his sleeve (which is entirely possible as he's wearing a long-sleeved shirt), he better prepare for a very costly war...
I, for one, is looking forward to the first skirmish as well as its outcome.
And maybe see Star being treated like the cub she is deep inside by Yuri. X3

There all four years old but still in diapers? Oh just saw stars reason for that, man I started potty training at almost two years old and finished at two in a half years old, my mom and dad said I got the hang of it really quick because I didn’t like them sometimes and pull ups were out of the question, my dad said I told him “ I want my diaper to be a pull up” and I used them as pull ups lol. However getting me off the pacifier took almost five years I even came to kindergarten with one in my backpack (I wasn’t a fan of school and it was sometimes the only thing to keep me from crying)
My sister Lisa was 9-10ish before she stopped sucking her thumb (we never had dummies/pacifiers as kids)and would take her cuddly toy absoluetly everywhere with her my other sister Emma wet the bed up until the age or about 10. A long time ago I knew of a kid....well I knew the parent of a kid who talked loudly at a BBQ once about how her 4 year old was still in nappies but her two year old wanted to potty train so she was training them both before the older one had to start school after summer. I also knew a 4 year old who knew all the medical terms for the different bones in hands and feet and could quote chunks of the harry potter books like to the minute detail. kids are all different really
Yeah I don't think it's that uncommon honestly. Especially in this scenario where they're at a sleepover. A lot of kids that age still at least wear them to bed in case of night time accidents. This actually reminded me of a time in Kindergarten when I was like 5 a girl in my class boldly complained about still having to wear them to bed, and I thought to myself, "Oh thank goodness, I'm not the only one."
I love this. Not only is she keeping them completely entertained but she is also getting to (it seems) enjoy herself, instead of stressing over whatever will be coming her way in the mystery box! Not only that but this is a refreshing thing for me to come home to since i just got off the graveyard shift.
Looks like to me that Yuri intentionally left Star alone with the kids so the kids can wreck havoc on Star..... I guess that plan backfired for now, lol. Looks like Star is always one step ahead of everybody for now, lol. I kind of feel like that the kids will cause a lot of havoc on Star if for some reason Star falls asleep from being super tired before the kids do, lol.
I love Kammy with Star's army boots on, Yuri's scared face with the "What the fudge" line, how Star is holding onto the kids while having that smile like I am one step ahead of you and Yuri's reaction in the last panel the best! You are always really good with drawing every character unique and cute, having interesting plot, having humor and conflict balancing out, and the having variety in emotions with the body languages and facial expressions of different characters in your comics on a regular basis. Thanks for posting this page, Star! You did a super phenomenal job as always! :)
