Pic of my bunny gal Chrissy taking a walk on the beach.
Turns out I'm really liking getting back into doing full color work as well as sketches. This time I decided to do a cute shot of Chrissy walking along the beach so I could work on creating more color palettes again, specifically working on water and sandy colors. The previous shot with Vivien got me a good dark wood color set, this one got me to rework the blue if I remember correctly. The ocean wasn't quite the color I wanted, so I do believe this is the only time those colors are used, but it paved the way for the new color swatch for water in the future. This is also ocean water, so its a lot more teal tinted than other water will be in the future.
I don't know why, but I decided to get her a pretty lavender straw type sun hat with a little flower, and I think it looks really good on her. And of course it wouldn't be Christina if she wasn't walking around in just some swim trunks and a collar. I also really went all out on adding little touches to the background on this one, little sand pipers running up the beach, some seagulls, clouds and a crossing jet leaving contrails.
Hopefully everyone enjoys the extra effort, and a cute bunny gal!
