I've been trying to work on my landscapes and compositions, and thought it would be fun to draw a massive dragon.

                    Fantastic. To reiterate from what I posted on your Reddit submission (where I saw it first), it looks like the dragon is trying to blend in with the clouds! xD
In terms of your goals from the artwork, I would say that you did quite well with saturation and colour theory in this piece! Personally, I'd prefer to give a higher dynamic range to the sky (i.e. darken a bit—maybe also mix in more warmer colours. I'm speaking from experience in astronomy :P)
Plus, consider experimenting with variety in your rock colours! Based from where I live in California (we do get snowy peaks down here xD), the rocks are bright and have an almost imperceptible red-tint to them. Mount Whitney is one example!
Otherwise, I do agree that the result should justify your contentment with the piece. Keep up with the great effort!
