This is Snookie, my blind 3 legged Pomeranian! Shes so fluffy! When she was given to us by a friend she was already completely blind, and i guess they could not take care of her anymore. Within a couple weeks, we started noticing that she started dragging her back legs and was in pain. We believe that she had a bad past, as our vet assumed that her blindness was due to blunt force trauma which would explain the neurological problems and her fear of the sound of basketballs hitting the ground. We were able to fix her right back leg with the first surgery, but sadly we could not save her back left leg on her second surgery so we had to amputate. Despite her past, she is the sweetest, most calm dog we have ever had! Her and I have a very special connection, as only in a few days of having her she would follow me everywhere and didn't want to follow anybody else. She is truly my little angel and I am so happy she stumbled into my life! Love you Snookie!
