A new and much needed reference. Himera and I where quick to crank out this one. It features full views for my tails (for both feral and anthro). Along with a flat color palette. I noticed that artists tend to struggle when drawing my tail. And me having to explain it all manually so much becomes a bit much for me when working across multiple artists all at once. And also having to use my older outdated flat reference for the color palette only causes some confusion (and some awkward scenarios at times). So I thought to myself that I need something to address this and so this is what Himera and I came up with.
With that said. I will now be retiring my old flat references from active service. They will no longer be used for commissions. However in respects to the artists who worked hard to create them for me. I decided to keep them up on FA. I will be keeping all of this as a History Collection. So that people can see how my character and artwork has evolved over time since I first started in the fandom. We all started from somewhere on this site. We all have our collections from our earlier days in the fandom. So I was thinking about doing the same. In respects to the artworks and references created by the artists who made them for me. But to also show people how I started out and how I came to be where I am now on FA today. Being a history buff myself. I think this is the correct decision. To use these older outdated references and artworks as museum pieces.
So now people can learn and see how I progressed over the years since I have joined the site. While also appreciating the work of the artists involved for those. While a good portion of my older artworks are in my scraps. I will also keep a good portion in my main gallery as well. So people notice. I am thankful for the dedicated work of the artists I worked with. They are all awesome people. It goes to show just how important it is to support artists. They are the backbone of the Fandom. Without them I wouldn't be where I am today. And the same can be said for everyone else in the fandom. We need artists. It is important to support and help them. When seeing my older artworks please do visit those artists listed in the descriptions of those and see them for yourselves. I highly recommend them. All of them have been improving their skills since. And you can still get amazing commissions and YCHs from them too.
