Sinking further and further into the pit, Vale's panic continued to rise! Beginning with struggles anew, the movement only went on to hasten his sinking and seemingly untimely demise, as he worried.

Sinking down to his neck, the strange tingling sensation that'd first began in his hands had finally spread all the way up to his neck and parts of his head, Vale tried to hold his breath for as long as he could when he sunk in under his head, the tar covering his entire body-

Unwilling to give up on his struggles, even if the tar had fully enveloped him and made him numb, even filling his head with strange thoughts- hunting, running, stalking.

Over the course of a few minutes, Vale had finally made some headway! Gasping for breath as he pulled himself free, one.. paw? At a time. Eventually Vale would crawl free from the tarpit, grumbling in confusion as he looked down at his new body.

Well, at least it felt natural, right? No clothes and all..

Plus, Sabreteeth were no longer extinct.
