Another one of my lost babies. Lucy and Sophie died within a few months of one another, two years ago. Sophie was supposed to be "my" dog but she bonded very closely with my mother instead (I don't mind). Sophie was the runt of her litter and very sickly all throughout her life (which lasted about 10 years). Despite this, Sophie's personality was overflowing with health and exuberance, and as we often said, incredible vanity. She was a beautiful dog and knew it; she used it to get whatever she wanted. She just flashed that smile and she got it! She was really talkative and spoiled.
