Another random creature design from 2014.
I ended up developing this one quite a bit, however--this character's name is Rhill, he is a Ridgeback, and he comes from a planet called Terminus, a distant desert world that was briefly relevant to some interplanetary mining and industrial operations before the resources were all mined up and the offworlders mostly left, leaving behind many of their structures and machines to be reclaimed by the Ridgeback tribes.
