Digitally colored version of my "Wanderer" sketch.
While a lot of these random designs don't see much further development, I ended up developing this one quite a bit--this character's name is Rhill, he is a Ridgeback, and he comes from a planet called Terminus, a distant desert world that was briefly relevant to some interplanetary mining and industrial operations before the resources were all mined up and the offworlders mostly left, leaving behind many of their structures and machines to be reclaimed by the Ridgeback tribes.
The Ridgebacks are best described as reptomammals, best described as a hybrid of a hyena and an alligator.
