Another Ridgeback design from 2014, these ones are smaller than the grey ones I designed previously, and live in the deserts of Terminus, frequently taking up residence in caves and abandoned mining tunnels.
This tribesman may not have the luxury of a refrigerator filled with leftovers, but the nature spirits have generously supplied beetles beneath the rocks scattered throughout the desert of his home world.
He has his pot to fill with beetles and insects, and takes care not to disturb the small plants that sustain his own food supply or disrupt the larvae of the beetles before they reach maturity.
He's one of many such collectors who have set out to overturn rocks and debris in the vicinity of the tribal village. With any luck, the evening foraging will provide a bounty of beetles, grubs and worms for the night.
