There's this fishing game in Second Life called 7Seas. You basically buy a pole, buy some bait and you can catch all sorts of cool fish with funky themes that you can wear on your avatar. They come in different rarities and sim owners can even add their own custom fish to the game. It's a bit pay to win but it doesn't really cost that much and I've caught all sorts of cool fish that have inspired different avatar ideas. Like the time I caught a peanut butter & jellyfish and created a PB&J-themed Victorian outfit for my possum avatar.

At any rate my friend Wyvvrn has been hosting feeshing events in SL for about ten or eleven years now. Four times a week we gather at different spots and hang out, chat & fish for an hour. You get points during his contests and everyone chips in to a prize pot that rewards the top four feeshers. It's a lot of fun and I've made a lot of friends at these contests (which aren't really contests but more something fun to do together).

Since It's been a part of my life for awhile I figured it deserved a poem.
