I just thought I'd put this new version up since I love this drawing so much! I've made a bunch of fixes to the anatomy and overall proportions, all hopefully for the best.
This picture is multi-purpose and is hopefully going to be for a flash game type thing that I've been planning for years and years. Hopefully later there will be a fun dress-up game made from this but for now it's just a nice hunk of eye-candy. Sorry for the blank expression. It's just the one I left on him when I saved the .jpg file. That's what it looks like when all the facial muscles relax. Maybe he's got something something important on his mind, or maybe he's just spacing out. I dunno.
The actual picture file already has multiple expressions, outfits and extras already that will hopefully work out when it comes to making something out of it.
Now... if anybody knows anything about flash... would you kindly help me get started?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I've tried to add more detail to the face but I can't seem to add more without losing the original integrity of his design. He ends up looking too old or too tired, stuff like that. Besides, with his face shape, I don't think he would have a whole lot of detail in his facial features. I think I might have to rely on the shading when I color it to give him a more realistic appearance.
It might also be the lack of expression too. You should see the angry face!

I know usually people draw musclemen with oversized hands but realistically the hands are only supposed to be the size of your face from the chin to the middle of your forehead or even up to the hairline. I've made absolutely sure they weren't too small for him as far as realistic proportions go.
I dunno, I personally prefer the hands at a normal size as opposed to large like how most people do 'em. It helps make the arms look beefier! XD
Thanks by the way! I know it's been a while.

Is it that obvious that I had trouble on the left shoe? I don't know why. The feet underneath were no problem at all but when it came to drawing shoes, it was a different story.
I'm glad you like the rest of it though. I've always had a thing for guys that pay attention to their entire physique when weight lifting. Most guys just worry about the upper half though and end up looking like massive martini glasses. XD

I suppose they have this idea, that leg muscle excercises are for women(and gay men), and that (straight) men are not supposed to work out their legs or their rear. Assuming, of course, that they are not actual athletes, but are primarily working out to improve their appearance.
