With her work day being done, Katherine was ready to head back home and prepare for tonight. However, as she got ready to leave, she saw several people running away from the junkyard that was located behind the shop she worked in.


Katherine: What's going on?


As Katherine was looking as to why everyone from the junkyard was running away, she spotted Chad, who was running as fast as he could back to the shop.


Katherine: Chad! What's going on?!


Chad: Kat! You gotta get out of here! There's some big monster in the junkyard!


Katherine: Wait what?!


Chad: When you were helping out Rusty, some of the guys from the junkyard asked me to help them out for a while! But when we were ready to dispose of a car, some massive Monster showed up from out of nowhere!


Katherine: Are you joking with me on this?!


Chad: I know it's hard to believe! But this is true. If I were you I would get out of here!


Chad continued to run away from the shop. But even after hearing Chad's warning, Katherine started to run into the junkyard, to see what Chad was talking about. She looked at her surroundings, where she saw nothing but cars parked in rows. But as she made it to the crusher area of the junkyard, she encountered what everyone was running away from. In front of her, was a Mechanical Monster that was shaped to look like a Dragon, having two exhaust pipes to resemble horns, but had two very small wings. But what stood out the most to Katherine, was the Heartless Emblem that was on top of it's head. Katherine had encountered this Heartless once before when she was in Daybreak Town, where she fought against alongside her friends. The Heartless was known as the Assault Dragon.


Katherine: There are Heartless here too?!


The Assault Dragon roared at Katherine, having it's sights on her. Seeing that she needed to take it out before it could get out and cause destruction outside of the junkyard, she did the only thing she knew she could do. She raised her right hand out and summoned her Keyblade, ready to fight it. Katherine started by quickly charging towards the Assault Dragon, as her keyblade was encased in ice. She then jumped up into the air, and used Frost Break. What followed was Katherine jumping high enough to be up above the Assault Dragon, where she then pointed her ice encased keyblade in front of it, and performed a downward aerial strike. She then teleported up into the air again, and repeated the process 10 more times. After 11 hits, Katherine ended her attacks against the Mechanical Monster, as she landed back on to the ground and her Keyblade was no longer encased in ice.


After her attack, the Assault Dragon's exhaust pipes above its head started to vent up flames, where it had powered up a fire breath attack and fired it at Katherine. However, before the flames could get her, Katherine jumped up into the air again, dodging the attack and used Wind Barrage. She powered up her Keyblade and swung it left and right, releasing wind slashes with each swing. After 6 swings, she powered up her Keyblade further, where she then unleashed 3 more powerful wind slashes. The strong winds caused the Assault Dragon to be knocked back, as the flames stopped. After the attack, Katherine went back to the ground. But the moment she landed on the ground, Katherine started to float up into the air, while raising her keyblade up into the air, as she used Blade of Seven. When Katherine raised her keyblade up into the air, seven energy blades formed around her. The moment the seven energy blades were created, she pointed her keyblade to the Assault Dragon Heartless. As she did this, the seven energy blades flew towards the Assault Dragon Heartless, with each energy blade striking it at different areas of the body. When the energy blades hit their marks, the energy blades disappeared, as Katherine floated back down to the ground.


With the Assault Dragon Heartless having taken damage, the Heartless started to flap it's very small wings as fast as it could, as it miraculously hovered above the ground. The Assault Dragon started to use the weight of it's body, and used the momentum to charge towards Katherine. Seeing that the Assault Dragon was charging at her and couldn't dodge it in time, she knew there was only one thing she could do. Katherine suddenly readied herself, and used Blazing Sword. Katherine suddenly disappeared from being in front of the charging Assault Dragon Heartless, as a bright streak went across it, with Katherine appearing behind it. This strike caused the Assault Dragon Heartless to fall to the ground, landing on its side, completely defenseless.


Seeing this, Katherine knew this was her chance to finish it off. Katherine's Keyblade started to glow, as she then threw her keyblade at the Assault Dragon Heartless. As she did, it spun in a cartwheel, all while glowing. Her Keyblade struck the Assault Dragon Heartless, and dealt the finishing blow, as the Heartless disappeared, with the Heart it had taken going up into the air, disappearing shortly afterwards. With the battle now over, Katherine looked around her, where she saw the amount of destruction the Heartless left behind. Shortly after, she started to hear police sirens, which told her that she needed to get out of there and fast.


Katherine: Uh oh.


Katherine dismissed her Keyblade and made a dash to a nearby fence. She quickly jumped the fence, started running away from the junkyard and made her way back home, all while avoiding attention and the police heading to the junkyard.
