Now I unveil my latest project, given permission by the awesome Danny Valentini, I was given the opportunity to create a fanfic of the very online comic that he and Donnie Sturges created and continue today. I hope that it will be worthy of the Draconia name.

Prologue: Visitor
I wish I could say that I live a normal life but that’d be a lie. With me it’s just one big mess after another…from my parents being murdered to being forced to become a soldier. Explosions were tearing apart the ground left and right and beam cannons and rifles shooting in every direction. I’m not a fighter but little did I know that I would become something more than a fighter…just not in the way I had imagined.
I was already in the middle of a war, trying to take out “supposed” terrorists hidden bases. All the while a strange light appeared in the sky and no matter how far I ran or in which direction it always seemed to follow me. An explosion from a cannon blast blew me into a wall and as I staggered to my feet that light in the sky was now only feet away from me and there was nothing I could do but let it engulf me. At the same time in another world a disaster had finally been resolved to some extent but a new crisis unknown to this world’s inhabitants would threaten their very existence…and it will start with the arrival of one…
Falling out of the clouds and moving very fast; was a streak of light. The people of this world both saw the light as it fell and struck the ground with massive force just beyond the mountains. At the epicenter was a human clad in black armor; the same one who will change the fate of this world.
A loud boom coupled with a large shower of dirt and debris shot out of the crater as the human crawls out, heaving and gasping, “Damn…what the hell happened? Huh?” As he regained his balance he observed his surroundings, “What the hell…where am I? I don’t recognize any of this…” Part of his helmet separated and slid back to reveal shoulder long black hair and deep blue eyes but the lower part stayed in place, “These plants don’t look like any plants I’ve ever seen…” Just then one of the plants snapped at him with a growl!!!
“Jeez!!! Okay…definitely not an Earth plant!! Dang…how’d I end up in a place like this??? Well I better not stick around to see anything else try and bite my head off…” He started off down the trail not knowing he plays a much bigger role in this world. After what seemed like hours of running he suddenly hears something rustling in the bushes, he gets his weapon ready when a white figure lunges out and dashes right past him causing him to stumble back. When he gets back to his feet he can’t believe his eyes: on the ground holding one of its ankles was a white, winged creature with brown hair, gold eyes and small white horns. Its face looked like a human child’s face but it’s anything but.
It looks at him and says, “#$^$$%@@^*&(^”
“Wait…what?” He says.
“%$^&*()@#!#$#{}{[]/” Whatever it is its speaking in an entirely different language. Suddenly a sharp pain and ringing shot through his head, then all of a sudden…
“<{)*^%$%^&#$-I said who are you?”
“Huh? Wait I can understand you now?” he said.
“…What do you mean?” It spoke with a young female voice so safe to say it’s a girl.
“Okay…what are you?”
“A dragon.” She answered.
“A ‘dragon’…really?” He said sarcastically.
“Dragon Princess really…ouch!!” She grabbed her ankle again.
“Here, let me take a look at it.” He puts his weapon away and tends to the young dragoness’s ankle.
“Do you have a name? Mine’s Lumina.” She said.
“…Zeke Archer…but you can just call me Zeke. There how’s that feel?” he asked. Lumina hops up and gently stands on her now bandaged ankle and giggles with joy.
“Much better, thank you Zeke. But I’m not that good at flying yet and I don’t know which way home is.” Lumina said.
“Well I’ll help you get home. Do you know anything that you’ve seen at home and recognize it at a distance?” Zeke asks.
“Umm…yeah the castle me and my ‘Meme’ live in, it has three huge towers but the middle one is bigger and you can see them for miles!!” Lumina said.
“Well climb on my back and I’ll jump up so you can see above the trees.” Zeke said. Lumina did so, climbed on his back, crossed her arms around his neck and wrapped her tail around his waist, “Hold on…” Zeke crouched down and in one swift motion leapt 20 FEET into the air!
“There!” Lumina pointed off into the distance.
“Dang, that’s pretty far off! How a little girl like you made it this far away from home I’ll never know.” Zeke said as they fell back to the ground, “Well we better get a move on, you might want to stay on my back. We don’t want that ankle of yours getting hurt again.” Lumina giggled as Zeke began to run.
As they were moving two figures were gliding to the spot they were just at, “Do you feel that? She was here…”
“Yes…finding her takes precedence over everything else.”
Back to Zeke and Lumina who is enjoying the ride on Zeke and feeling the winds in her face, “WHEEE, HAHAHAHA!! This is so fun!”
“Well aren’t you a cheery one. Ha-ha, hang on!” Zeke said as he leapt across an 80 foot gorge with ease.
“Wow! How can you jump so far and so high, Zekey? And why do you have that thing covering your mouth?” Lumina asked.
“Zekey? Did she just give me a nickname? Uhh…Well it’s an air mask; it helps me breathe in all kinds of situations.” Zeke said.
“You can’t breathe without it?” Lumina asked.
“No I can it’s just that the air on this world could be different than the air I’m used to on my world. To you it’s normal but to me it could be poisonous and kill me so I’m not taking a chance just yet. As for the other thing it’s something I really don’t like talking about…” Zeke said.
“Aww, no fair…” Lumina said. Just then Zeke slowed to a stop, “Huh, Zeke why’d you stop?”
[Bleach Soundtrack-Morning Rememberence]
“They changed me…” Zeke said.
“Huh…”
“…They made me do…horrible things…and I couldn’t do much to stop it.” Lumina didn’t say a word.
“When my foster father forced me to join the military I was changed, everyone who joins and becomes a soldier is changed: they are made stronger and tougher than regular humans. That’s why I can jump so far but the term soldier has long since lost its honor. Hundreds of years before my time becoming soldiers meant you were choosing to live a life of honor and a sense of duty but now…the term no longer holds such meaning. Soldiers are now nothing more than mercenaries and murderers, eliminating whoever we’re told and paid to eliminate…even if it means taking the life of a child… I never wanted to be a soldier, I wanted to be a musician and do something that made others happy instead of causing more sadness and grief. I’ve taken so many innocent lives against my will…so now…I hope one day I’ll be able to find forgiveness for everything I’ve done.”
“Do you have any friends back home?” Lumina asked. Zeke didn’t answer right away.
“No…because my real parents had jobs and careers that needed them to move place to place often we never stayed in one town or city long enough for me to make friends. Heh, I’m 20 years old and I don’t have a single friend…but you…you’re a Princess so everyone in your home kingdom is your friend… I guess I’ll end up dying without ever knowing what it’s like to have friends.” Zeke sighed.
“Umm…OH, I’ll be your first friend Zeke!” Lumina said. Suddenly Zeke’s face lit up!
“Heh…Thank you Lumina.” Zeke said when a single tear slid down his cheek but it was quickly wiped off.
“Well let’s get back on the move.” Zeke took off again just a few minutes before the two figures arrived at the spot they left.
“The feeling is much stronger here. We’re getting closer.”
“What are these strange tracks…I fear some strange creature may have her.”
“I will not allow any harm to come to her!!” Just then a loud roar shook the trees ahead of them which can only mean big trouble.
At the area ahead Zeke is really pouring on the steam when a giant creature burst through the trees! It was covered in thick scales with a short neck, long serrated teeth, a huge clubbed tail and blood covered claws and it was mad!! Shots from Zeke’s laser handgun didn’t slow it down at all.
As the chase spilled into a strange clearing with an odd ruin at one end of it Zeke began to feel a strange sensation spread out from his heart. He jumped out of the way of the creature’s mad attack and caught a glimpse of what was carved into the ruin wall: a lone figure with no wings, no tail, no horns or claws stood holding a weapon. A small glint suddenly appeared and Zeke saw that a gold object was embedded in the wall and looked as if the lone figure was actually holding it.
The creature caught Zeke off guard just as he tried to jump out of the way but the monster’s attack caught his foot and knocked him out of balance, Lumina lost her grip and was thrown off Zeke’s back.
The beast stomped towards Lumina when suddenly a burst of light knocked the beast back, “Oh MEME!!” Zeke looked up and saw two more dragons: one black and the other red. The black one landed while the red one flew on toward the beast and launched FIREBALLS?! But it still hardly slowed it down and charged Lumina and the black dragoness then it stopped in its tracks and looked like it was struggling to move. The black dragoness waved her hand and sent the beast tumbling while she took to the air after it but the creature recovered too quickly for her to react and was thrown away farther from Lumina.
The red dragoness flew toward the beast but she was caught in midair and thrown where the black dragoness was. Zeke rounded behind the beast and jumped to get a headshot but the beast put all its strength into one swing of its hulking arms and smashed Zeke with such force his armor was completely destroyed and he was sent flying right into the ruin wall which fell right on top of him.
“ZEKE!!!” Lumina screamed as the beast lumbered closer to her. Under all the debris Zeke was barely conscious, “Lu…Lumina…” A clinking sound got closer and closer and then a short dagger like object dropped into his open hand suddenly he clenches his hand as the sensation he felt earlier exploded!
“NO YOU STAY AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER!!!” The black dragoness screamed as she flew right at the beast but her light powers were no longer effective against it and she was tossed aside like a ragdoll.
Lumina, frightened out of her mind, couldn’t move out of the beast’s path, “Zeke…please…help me…anybody…HELP!!!”
Suddenly a strange yet incredibly powerful sensation caught their attention, the black dragoness with a fierce scowl glared at what remains of the ruins, “Wha…what is this…immense power? Where is it coming from?!” she thought. The ground began to shake as beams of light broke out from underneath the debris; suddenly a massive surge of power erupted upwards. A figure of pure light walked out from the dust cloud holding a golden blade.
“What is that?!” the black dragoness screamed. The figure of light raised the golden blade and swung it to the right and it changed from a 10 inch short sword to a 5 foot longsword!
[Naruto Shippuuden OST-Reverse Situation]
The figure disappeared in a blur of speed with such ferocity it took 5 seconds for the ground where it was standing to explode and form a crater after it was already gone! Suddenly it was in front of the beast and with the hilt smashed it in the chest with so much force it sounded more like an explosion, the hit was so powerful the beasts muscles in its back tore and blood spurted out before it was sent faster than the eye can see clear to the opposite side of the field. The beast roared and inhaled deeply and blasted a huge stream of fire out of its mouth at the light fighter and Lumina engulfing them both!
“Lumina!!!” But then the fire changed direction and flowed upwards into a massive sphere of flames but it wasn’t Lumina it was the light fighter!! When the beast ran out of breath the fighter thrusts his arm toward the monster and the massive sphere of fire shrunk and compressed before erupting forward in a concentrated surge of flames!!
The beast jumps out of the way but the blast is so powerful and huge its entire left arm gets incinerated clean off as the blast burns out. The light fighter charges when wings suddenly burst from his back, the beast tries to swat him out of the air but a blindingly fast slash cuts the beast’s right arm in half!! Then it tries to shoot him out of the air but he swoops in and slashes the beast repeatedly, the beast even tried to ram him with its head but it was stopped cold with one hand as the beast dug its legs into the ground. With a simple push the beast was thrown away as the fighter jumped and was about to land the final blow when it glanced over to Lumina, with his arms crossed he used him left index finger to create a small sphere of light and sent it to Lumina.
“Ooh pretty…” the sphere flashed brightly and momentarily blinded her. The fighter slashed one last time and cut the beast in half from the chest down, cleared miles of forest trees and finally a massive gash exploded right through the middle of a mountain!
The fighter dashed away in a blur and just as Lumina was recovering from her short blindness found the fighter standing in front of her. The black dragoness and the red dragoness stood still after seeing that display of power expecting the worse. The fighter closed his eyes and sudden wave of power washes over them and it was Zeke who was the strange fighter.
“Hah…hah…hah…sorry ‘bout that Lumina…hah…hah…but what I did to that guy…hah…was for…hah…adult eyes only…” Zeke wheezed. The black and red dragoness walked forward…still on the defense, “Hey…hah…what are…your names? Mine’s Zeke…hah…”
The black dragoness remained quiet but the red one answered, “My name is Red and this is our Queen and Lumina’s mother, Oscura.”
“Hey…nice to meet ya. Uh…hey…don’t take this the wrong way…hah…hah…but I’m gonna take a little…hah…hah…nap…night-night…” Zeke lurched backwards and…*THUD*…hit the ground with a thud and…*snore……snore* He fell asleep!
“What should we do, my Queen?” Red asked.
“Meme, he has to come home with us!” Lumina said.
“That’s not a good idea Lumina.” Oscura said.
“But he helped me; he even fixed up my leg and promised that he’d get me to you Meme. He’s my friend and I’m his friend, PLEASE?” Lumina begged giving Oscura the puppy-dog eyes.
Eventually Oscura gives in, “Well…destroying a beast like that and saving both a Princess and a Queen is by far no easy feat. Very well, we’ll take this odd creature back with us; it is without a doubt very interesting, I’ll have to give it my thanks once it wakes up.” Oscura looks at the beast’s remains and gasps, Red and Lumina look as well and can’t believe their eyes either. The beast’s body was dissolving into embers until nothing was left.
“Meme…what was that?” Lumina asked.
“I have seen many things in this world but nothing like that. I have an ominous feeling about the future…come, Red; carry the creature while I carry my daughter.”
“Of course my Queen.”

“Ooh pretty…” the sphere flashed brightly and momentarily blinded her. The fighter slashed one last time and cut the beast in half from the chest down, cleared miles of forest trees and finally a massive gash exploded right through the middle of a mountain!
The fighter dashed away in a blur and just as Lumina was recovering from her short blindness found the fighter standing in front of her. The black dragoness and the red dragoness stood still after seeing that display of power expecting the worse. The fighter closed his eyes and sudden wave of power washes over them and it was Zeke who was the strange fighter.
“Hah…hah…hah…sorry ‘bout that Lumina…hah…hah…but what I did to that guy…hah…was for…hah…adult eyes only…” Zeke wheezed. The black and red dragoness walked forward…still on the defense, “Hey…hah…what are…your names? Mine’s Zeke…hah…”
The black dragoness remained quiet but the red one answered, “My name is Red and this is our Queen and Lumina’s mother, Oscura.”
“Hey…nice to meet ya. Uh…hey…don’t take this the wrong way…hah…hah…but I’m gonna take a little…hah…hah…nap…night-night…” Zeke lurched backwards and…*THUD*…hit the ground with a thud and…*snore……snore* He fell asleep!
“What should we do, my Queen?” Red asked.
“Meme, he has to come home with us!” Lumina said.
“That’s not a good idea Lumina.” Oscura said.
“But he helped me; he even fixed up my leg and promised that he’d get me to you Meme. He’s my friend and I’m his friend, PLEASE?” Lumina begged giving Oscura the puppy-dog eyes.
Eventually Oscura gives in, “Well…destroying a beast like that and saving both a Princess and a Queen is by far no easy feat. Very well, we’ll take this odd creature back with us; it is without a doubt very interesting, I’ll have to give it my thanks once it wakes up.” Oscura looks at the beast’s remains and gasps, Red and Lumina look as well and can’t believe their eyes either. The beast’s body was dissolving into embers until nothing was left.
“Meme…what was that?” Lumina asked.
“I have seen many things in this world but nothing like that. I have an ominous feeling about the future…come, Red; carry the creature while I carry my daughter.”
“Of course my Queen.”
