Sooooo... my 25th bday is coming up next Sunday and as a surprise early birthday gift my Mom got me... a PUPPY!!
He's a miniature Australian Shepherd, tri colored, and I've named him Dexter!
He is so incredibly sweet and is already attached to my hip and is always following me around. He gets along great with Smokey (Smokey loves everyone) and Cooper!
All the cats like him or are indifferent except Casper who just doesn't like dogs. Oh well he will get over it because Dex is always going to be in my room with me!
We've always had family pets, this is my first time really having my own dog. I'm so happy! Ignore my gym clothes.
It makes me happy that we have three dogs again. We always did until Ginger passed, and it just feels right.
