"Little darlin' I feel the ice is slowly meltin'
Little darlin' it seems like years since it's been clear
Here come the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right " - George Harrison, The Beatles
A red panda in cute winter clothing, with the sun peeking out from behind the clouds to warm her back...
I'm happy with the colors I chose, and especially with her whiskers.
Another little painting for FC - Inks and acrylics on 5"x5" Gessobord.

Excllent use with colors and shading blends...high amounts of lighting add to the overall effect of the snow and the piece gives off a very cute "Vintage moments" greeting card look and feel. The character's facial expression is the epitome of child like innocence and the smile she has on reveals her deep love for the snow and the month of december. The sparkle in her eyes really gives off that "Wow its snowing FINALLY" look and really fits in. The emotions of this peice are very apparent with happiness and joy...I can honestly see this as a christmas card or a gift art to someone special.
The texture technique you use so well in all your works I have viewed thus far is very apparent as is the style you use. The thing that grabbed me besides the smile has to be the lights and darks in this piece as they have been done so well.
Excellent usage on all accounts of techniqque and skill...this very much is a masterpiece that screams not to be egnored and is well deserved of some credit to both you and your mastery of colors and line works.
Keep it going Kacey I am very impressed with this piece and look forwards to more pieces from you in the near future with this much detail and attnetion to colors and shading.

so many comments that I managed to get Sbored while scrolling down o.O;; I'd say a successful image then XD
Wonderful work there ^_^ Winter season is great for art, you don't need to burn so much color for backgrounds, just couple blues. ;) some yellow, tad of purple and red, a hint of cyan or green... but still less than all the summery pictures <.<

Hey its another i wish i could draw like that picture ^_^ Not to be the sole nitpicker here but -and its only a small thing- the hat and the ears look awkward to me. I almost think it would look better if she were not wearing a hat. The way the hat is cut so it fits over the ears just looks sort of wierd. hats on furries seem to present issues in the best of circumstances though, and this really is one of the best circumstances. really nice work ^_^
Hmmm... this might be one of my favorites yet! I don't know what it is - perhaps the juxtaposition of her red fur versus the blue-ish sky, or maybe she just reminds me of how happy I am to see the sun these days (still not used to the rain here in the NW!)
Regardless, such beautiful coloring and fur detail! Her little mouth and pretty eyes are so adorable, too. :D
