a redo of a very old, unfinished picture of mine.

Nathan investigates the reason as to why the river has dried up, and finds a very distressed river dragon caught in a pike trap. Poor thing! :C

I have been working on this aaaaaaaaall day hahah...probably one of the more ambitious things I've done as of late.

and I'm pretty fast at doing most art, it's all practice. I'm pretty much drawing or painting nonstop everyday anyway, so you speed up after a while hahah

Originally I think I was going to base the dragon off of a salmon...?? But that didn't happen, lol. All I knew was I wanted him to have a darker top and light white belly. He ended up looking a lot like Haku from Spirited Away :x

I don't see a lot of real physical resemblance other than body type .. which is really hard to get away from with an aquatic dragon. :x

well, its not necessarily a bad thing... its just that its a whitish blue dragon... who happens to be a river spirit/dragon.
Good job tho! It looks awesome!

hahah originally I had radically different colors for the dragon (black white and pink), but it looked too dark. :(
