I swear it was like Nina wanted an excuse to design a car influenced by Borderlands' Technicals. o_o

Riley spent a good amount of time scavenging vehicles for parts. She had this desire to have an actual vehicle to travel in, which is understandable given how long it takes to get anywhere on foot.
She had to consider the danger involved in traveling in any kind of vehicle. To that end, the Pachirisu reinforced the chasis with armor plates and welded three metal "blades" to the front bumper. The only problem was the extra weight required a more powerful engine and fuel to go with it.
What she came up with was questionable to say the least. Riley's solution was to replace the engine with a miniature fusion reactor cobbled together from various wrecks of shipping trucks. It had to be modified to accept a standard micro-fusion cell, or MFC, as the fuel source to power it. The fact that engines like these could explode with the force of a mini-nuke if it takes enough damage didn't really phase her.
Riley just wasn't too worried about the reactor being hit. She had set up the vehicle to be more like a tank with wheels instead of treads. Heck, she even welded the doors shut and installed an access hatch in the roof of the cab. She didn't want some random bastard trying to yank her or a passenger out through the windows.
There was just one little problem... Caitlyn and Idena got a little too curious about this little pet project. The engineering technician in Caitlyn wanted to know what made this armored monstrosity tick. It was a new machine she hadn't seen before.
And Idena was facinated with the side-view mirrors, making faces in them as a form of self amusement.
