I, too, hate offending people, but I also believe it was a scam that was being attempted to be foisted upon the good people who are fans of this comic. What likely happened was your readers, being as smart as they are, saw that post for what it was and refused to visit causing the person who posted it to realize that he (she?) wasn't going to steal any money from them and decided to remove the post and take it where people are more likely to fall for scams.

We visited her aunt and uncle (and met some cousins -- with one of whom I worked and stay in contact) back in 1966. One of those big milestones in my life.

She is putting the effort in. If she gets into trouble, she could tunnel her way out. However, the way things are going she'll need an Ambulance just to take her to the venue. I wonder if it's too late for Fred, to persuade her to become bionic. 😀😀😀😀
