Hah true. Lot of people here got some weird standards and I mean that in a funny way XD
Still. Happy to hear you too, are fan of Human X Furry settings. You have posted such before and I love 'em all. This one is pretty good, nice shadings and I like the blurry effect you put on the feline figure to the left. Makes the eye focus more on the main character.
Good work there, look forward to see more!

If you lie to yourself enough about being happy... Sometimes you can buy into the lie.
I really like the look of this... Espically like the detail that our masked friend is the only character in
the image moving towards the screen.
Also kudos to mixing humans with anthros, always provides a fun contrast between all the characters.

Sometimes.
That's an interesting spot of detail there and probably serves the image composition even more ... I did that subconsciously though, so I wonder what exactly that implies :/
Human / Anthro is oe of my favorite topics. I just don't get to draw it very often.

This is a very provocative and relatable scene. It is like a normal day, of people minding their own business, although we can see their outlines however non of their expressions are clear. All our attention is drawn to the man and the only human.
He could be smiling but then wouldn't be any need for the mask. We don't know what's happening behind that mask, whether he's crying, in anguish, sad, contemplative, or even wanting to plead for help. But for him, he needs to wear this fake smile whilst been in society and not express what he truly feels. With him being the 'only' human, this shows how isolated he is.
We all wear masks when we go out into the world. This is why I say this picture is relatable. Not only in the scene but what is happening in real life. Although some can be smiling outward what's happening behind it, is another 'real story'. It's alright not to be alright and it is right to seek help.
This is truly a MASTERPIECE, well done on expressing this issue.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

While he's not the only human in the image, the unfocused nature of the environment was definitely meant to highlight the isolation aspect of the "protagonist". I was certainly operating on the idea that the mask is supposed to stand in for the public expression we all put on for our everyday lives and all the implications that brings with it, I didn't expect it to find this much of a resonance though o.o
Mind you, I'm not complaining XD I'm always glad when I can make people think and react to my art!
Thank you very much :3

At darker times in my life, I've gotten through with this. Call it the "Joker face". I've had no reason to be happy at those times, but I choose to "paint" on a smile. If you're going to be depressed and unhappy because your life sucks, you're going to be never be happy, because life is an inherently sucky business to be involved in.
There is truth in this and I've often felt that way myself.
Ultimately I've found ways to cope with it and I have enough supportive people around me that know how to pull me out of the dirt of my own mind, but I can't deny sharing in this feeling more and more every day of late.

I've seen a few ideas as to how to accomodate tails in clothing over the years, some better than others. I try to include things that feel natural, but that also tends to be a subjective interpretation.
Glad to hear it ^^ if I'm lucky I might get to do more human/anthro stuff as time permits.
