This beautiful gryphon is Blue Jay! Real name, Kraas. Blue Jay is an important character in my ongoing serialized fantasy novel, Pledged in Blood. Blue Jay was a raider in his youth, but after being captured, was given a second chance and now serves in a special operations squad of the Gryphon Legion. Though Blue Jay starts off as the main character's foe, eventually they're on the same side, and he's given his (Mostly) affectionate nickname.

Blue Jay's big and powerful by gryphon standards, and a dangerous combatant. He's also got an open mind, and is quick to show his playful side when things calm down. He's also got a streak of that typical gryphon smugness. He's handsome, and he knows it.
