The sun continues to set as Robin and Little John lay back in their patch of grass together, as Little John seeks a kiss.
This is a continuation of the first and second "This is the Life," pictures.

What more could you want? You've slept and awaken with your bear, and wouldn't want it with anybody else. You know he's there to stay with you, and nothing's better than that. Nothing else even matters. So you take that kiss, and take with it, the thought you will tell yourself; "This is the life."
For the third time, I'm still listening to Andy McKee (song: Rylynn), which helped influence this picture, as well as Tyk. ;3

Alright, so the series is over. I experimented with something new in each part of the series, and as well as spent more on each later picture. Which is why this last piece has a lot more detail than the first.

Yeah, I tried to make all three parts kinda connect. Also, in terms of what was thought-out.... there's a lotta subtle details that I'm not sure people catch. Thanks you for commenting on that.

As for style....when it comes to fanart, I usually am real picky, and prefer the artwork to be done in the style of the original characters...there's always exceptions though, and I was trying to bend my own prefrences and make exceptions as well.

This need to be a BTL-sim.. It would probably be just 5 minutes or something, but dang - what a way to wake up. I'd be beaming for the rest of the day. ^.^
It's really touching, and the way they're touching noses is touchlingly tou.. just so cute :)
The "gleam"(or lensflare, I'm not so artistic as to know the difference :P) in Little John's eyes really add to the feeling of it too.
And I doth agree with others; with things like this, we don't really miss your smut... we always have your archives for that :P

BTL-sim....I got no idea what that is....I just asked Tyk, and neither does he....^^;
But yes! indeed, what a way to wake up...surely be able to make you beam all day...that's part of the whole point of the series.
^^ Eskimo kisses...;3 Yeahh, I thought the nose-touching would be nice. Originally, the scene was suppose to be in the middle of kissing...but decided to make the scene RIGHT before the kiss instead.
Gleam....lensflare...I got no idea which the correct term is but I know what you're talking about. ;P And thanks. That was one of the things I experimented with this pic. Mixing solid flat colors with some gradient and smooth colors (keep solid colors in the front, and gradient smooth colors in the background). I also experimented with more reflected colors and light in this picture than I did with the other two pics. The sunset added a lot to the mood of the pic, so I thought I'd bring some of that mood into the eyes of Robin and Little John.
Eyes are always important to me, and so I thought adding some emphasis of glare would really add a subtle boost in mood. =3 Glad you noticed and commented.

You said you needed to do more smut as that's what everyone wants. I just ment that so good pics like this with the eyes and noses and paws and 'awwww's and such is almost as good as smut ^.^
