Hello, everyone! This is a first-ever joint-commission between two artists, each one of which made a comic panel to show off one very useful application of Peridoc's signature breath weapon- deterring the hell out of larger predators! Turns out that having a chemical weapon that reacts violently with amine groups and water does NOT pair well with most biological tissues, to the dismay of this larger dragon.
I had edited the second artist's panel with some smudge and shadow/highlight tools to enhance its detail. The anatomy, lines, and original coloring are all the second artist's work, however.

Thank you very much, Zero! A dragon that size would not have a significant enough portion of their tissues conflagrated to die from such a blast, although continued exposure to such high-intensity reactions would eventually go from "loss of tongue" to "loss of life."
Swallowing Peridoc would result in the bladder containing hir breath weapon eventually being ruptured during digestion, which would turn most predators into a mushroom cloud. And then there's the fact that Peridoc has incredibly thorough regenerative abilities, to the point of hir wounds being able to send out macrophages which break down nutrients (including other organisms' tissue) to reform damaged or missing body parts; this would not bode well for the digestive tract (and surrounding abdomen) of a predator, especially given how some of Doc's tissues are acidophiles or alkaliphiles.
