Officially second in what looks to become a small series on alien possum-equivalents


Drip'tigs are small, cat sized critters in the Seol reptile group, more closely related to the flying flit lizards than anything else. They mostly eat fruit but won't turn their noses up at insects, eggs, or garbage.

Unlike most of the warm-blooded reptile clade, they lay large clutches of soft, leathery eggs that hatch out independent youngsters instead of bearing live young.

They're generally unpopular on Seol for pulling out the content of garbage bins, raiding chik setups, and acting as a reservoir species for a handful of serious diseases. There is, however, a domesticated variety that's sometimes kept for eggs and bred into fancy morphs.
