It appears someone at the office has been giving Assistant Mayor Bellwether a lot of hell, someone other than Lionheart possibly. It's no wonder she's in a bad mood today, but for a reason. If it's because of Lionheart, Dawn might have accidentally overheard him talking with someone on his phone and mentioned something that was rather offensive about her or that same stereotype of how sheep are still labeled as "easy prey" animals in today's society, just like his personal secretary who's only good for carrying the bundles of paperwork at a slow pace, only to end up dropping everything. But if it is because of someone else on how he/she labels sheep, it would give Dawn a personal reason for wanting to live in a fantasy world where her kind are welcome and accepted just like everyone else, instead of accepting that she was born "different" from everyone else and couldn't help it. For anyone that asks why she couldn't just leave the job, I don't think it would have been that simple, especially if you're elected before as one of those politicians that's already in office and can't leave that easily. For anyone like Dawn Bellwether who has become the easy target of bullying and abuse, many of them run away into fantasy because of the problems they face in reality where it seems everyone they meet treats those unfairly who are "different" and "not normal", so to live in a fantasy where that never happens is their way of escape and feeling safe in their surroundings. Who can blame them for that? But unless that fantasy becomes warped in their mind and taken too far, there is a danger to that. And it could be where that is when all of Dawn's dark feelings of anger, fear, stress, and confusion manifested and took over to take her on a new dark path she is about to regret. Having once been a victim of prejudice herself, being discriminated all her life along with her family tree, anyone can find where she is coming from understandable like all the other tragic villains I sympathize with, instead of just dismissing her as nothing more than some power hungry villain evil for the sake of being evil, that I refuse to accept that cliché on her part. I still see her as someone trapped in her own dark mind that she can't run away from, and bottling up her emotions never did her any good either. There are some so-called villains who are really nothing more than ordinary people driven to a breaking point, like a few of the Batman villains, who are mad at the world because of how they are born "different".
