Drekir are instinctively compelled to sunbask, being cold blooded creatures it's hard for them to resist rays of sunlight, especially after eating as the warmth helps kickstart their digestive system. So drekir often spend their early morning hours sprawled in the morning rays basking, and if you are gonna spend an hour or two laying in the sun you may as well gossip a bit , some cultures even make board games to pass the time while soaking in the rays. But for the most part most of these tribal cultures take their chance to gossip about the day to day occurrences in and around their villages.

Even being transformed into a bunch of draconic dromeosaurids hasn't ruined gossip, hooray?
