More Hordad!AU concept drawings, this time taking a closer look at his and Adora's stay in the Scorpion Kingdom!


1. Hordak and King Scorpion heaving a little man talk while introducing Adora and Scorpia to each other. Scorpia's Grandad is a big softy and took Hordak and his little daughter in with open arms, I think that's something we can all agree on.

2. Okay, the King may have accepted Hordak just fine, but many were very suspicious, especially the King's daughter-in-law, who reeeeaaaally didn't vibe with this strange cat who randomly showed up with a child on their kingdom one day and was OBVIOUSLY NOT Etherian. She was fine with Adora, though. She and Scorpia hit it right away, they just playn'.

3. Hordak's defect didn't stay hidden for long. He needed to constantly make changes and upgrades to his armor and with Adora and Scorpia having free roam of the castle and his laboratory, it wouldn't be long before he passed out due to either pain or exhaustion. Baby Adora didn't react very well to that...

4 & 5. Things changed as Adora one day wandered to outside the castle and found a kitten in a shoe box. She brought her back to the castle, where she presented the kitten to Scorpia and then to the Scorpion royal family. Hordak did not have any say on this as they had already named her "Catra" and the new furball refused to leave Adora's side. She didn't know how to talk and the Scorpion Princesses were pretty sure she had never seen a sofa in her life... But Hordak couldn't really help but feel a sense of dejavu, he just couldn't put his finger on it...
