It's in remarkably good shape for an 87.

It is for the most part but i gotta replace a whole lot stuff when get the money like the window/door seals, muffler, front passenger panel, repaint, and the C.A.T.. Believe it or not, it only has about 53,000 miles on the odometer.

You'd be lucky if you found a Ranger of that year of even that good of shape around here. If they're rotten on either some portion of the cab or the box. Then the entire box itself is missing entirely and replaced with a home-made wood and metal flatbed.

Yeah, I sometimes see the flat bed look but mostly its on the small to medium sized trucks.

It's fairly common here since it's cheaper than trying to find a new box for it.

I've also seen some that have the commercial bed/box http://www.murphyauctions.net/image.....e07jul/107.jpg (this was the quickest one I could find) and I might have seen one that was jacked up (lifted)

I haven't seen many of those. It's mainly the big pickups with the commercial beds on them. Though not common I have seen the vehicles like mine lifted. I also saw some on YouTube of guys who stuck a 4.3 v6, a Ford 302 or a Chevy 350 in them and kept them stock looking.

I didn't know it was possible to put a V8 in a tracker o_o

It's a incredibly tight fit. But if you know what you're doing and how to do it, it's possible. Go do a search on YouTube and take a look. It's awesome stuff. You wouldn't think such a docile looking little vehicle wouldn't be very intimidating until you found out there was a v8 secretly lurking under the hood. :3
