This is something I've been working on for a long time and I am extremely happy with how this came out. I learned how to sew and made a life-size plush of Alan my kobold character. Technically speaking the stuffed animal is a bit larger than Alan at four feet tall (he's three foot four) but it's close enough. This took a lot of work to do, most of it learning how to actually build a plush from scratch, most information I found was either take a pattern and make it or just make a "pillow" of the design. I made several models and prototypes to test the design, and the process all told took about half a year, though doing another one would probably take much less time which what I've learned. I'm really proud of this work as it was something I knew nothing about going into the project, so I need to thank a few people that helped:
First,
TankaaKumawani who initially inspired me with his giant godzilla plush https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31061497/ (you might see a fin or two of it in another picture of the plush), and then later for a lot of information on how to prototype a design. He's given some gentle nudging towards full body suit design and construction, but I don't know if that's a place I want to go at this time.
Second
draco-rex who helped me construct the final pattern by making a 3D model I was able to unwrap into a sewing pattern. You can see him using the model for a render of his own at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36850001/.
I had a lot of fun making this and will likely make more in the future. I'm eyeing up making a BLK plush, but doing something life size would be exceptionally difficult.
Question time! Has there ever been something crazy or off the wall art-wise that you wanted to do? Did you try it and if so how did it go?

I made it myself by hand. I got the sewing machine for free (it was my grandmother's old sewing machine) and designed the plush out and prototyped it over the last few months. It took about two weeks to sew it all from 80 pieces. I lucked out and was able to grab the poly-fil stuffing and the fleece separately at sales so it wasn't too expensive to make.
Congrats! This turned out really well; I would've never guessed that this was your first serious project in plush territory.
Closest thing I can think of when it comes to stuff I tried to do that was particularly wild to me (at the time, at least) was when I was about 10 years old (maybe 9) and thought I had figured out what made CG renders look different from traditional media and attempted to make a CG render on physical media. (No, I don't think I knew what CGI stood for, and probably didn't even know that term back then at all, honestly) What I actually ended up with was my first dive into lineless art with some amateur cel shading, and while it obviously didn't grant the results I went in for, it in retrospect turned out better than I probably should have expected at that age.

At the least I plan on making one of my other main character BLK. He's going to be harder as he is more complex and larger, so I wanted to do this one first. I'll also probably sew another copy or two of this at some point for maybe charity (I'm sure some kid would love to have a stuffed animal as big as themselves). I do enjoy sewing so I'll likely continue it as a hobby, but it won't replace the digital art I do.
You did a really fine job on this. Him and his doofy face look so real now.
I'd love to try making plushes myself, at least once I have the funds expendable for it. Creation is a step bigger than Reparation, and all I've done experience-wise is sow holes in clothes and other plushes back together. I'm sure using thread to pull fabrics together and making something new isn't too much harder, as long as it's not too complex.
