Another "sculpt your fursona" from Ferzu. I encountered the same problem as last time with the head layer's boundaries being too small, resulting in cropping out the feet if I tried to merge. Thus I kept them separate layers and thickened the neck to cover the gap. In terms of thickness, I forgot how much the smoothing tool also slims down a sculpt, so by the time I had smoothed out the body I had taken too much away, thus the thin body. Next time I'll be sure to add a lot of extra clay to the body expecting the smoothing to take much of it away.
