"This ghastly one-legged elder from Shikoku may appear to have only one eye, but in truth, they just have one very large eye and one very small eye--they use this eye to scope out prey and kill them with either a powerful stomp or their sharp teeth. The yamajijii are reclusive and can even be tamed by humans, but don't let that fool you into thinking they are harmless. It's said that a yamajijii's cry is so loud, it knocks the leaves and branches off of nearby trees, and can even kill a human if they're close by when it shouts. They can also read minds if need be...truly, a fearsome creature no matter how you approach it."
This one's a little 'eh' in my book, but I had a busy Father's Day and don't really feel like drawing, so I wanted to get something simpler out. Plus, another name for the yamajijii is 'yamachichi', or 'mountain father', so it's fitting.
