Not that I didn't appreciate the effort, as those drinks kept me going for a large part of the 24-hour Artist's Alley, but I was reminded of the above observation when I poured my drink out into a cup of ice that morning before heading downstairs. Must be why they don't sell these things in bottles.
Technical:
Um, not a skill-stretcher here. I sketched the body forms at FWA, but finished the rest of the pencils at home. The inks were done with a size 1 round-bristle brush, and the single-layer digital color (29 megabytes uncompressed) was done using the same prehistoric app I do all my stuff with, Micrografx Picture Publisher. Probably the longest-winded though process went into (what passes for) the backdrop. I hacked together a curtain-like backdrop and left it at that. Probably the only thing new is depicting Tanya wearing someting that is neither red nor yellow :) .

LOL, it's true with a lot of those drinks. I used to love Lucozade, which looked less like piss and as it was more bright yellow and not so transparent, but a lot of those drinks...yikes.
OTOH, I've heard that drinking piss can be good for you (contains lots of helpful electrolytes, or some such.... *le shrug*)

My research indicates urine is composed of water, salts and urea, in that order.
On the other hand, a cited statement in the Wiki article on taurine (that I just looked up) indicates that cats and birds need it, to the point where significant health problems can develop if they don't get it
So we should be telling Tanya, "drink it anyway--it's good for you"

When I need some 'wake-up juice" I often go with a Red Bull. Curiously, the sugar-free version is almost indistinguishable from the regular, so I go with those.
But I don't have them often--I keep a couple of cans in the fridge and they can sit for a couple of months before I feel the need for one.

As a graveyard shift worker, I regularly have to employ these vile concoctions. Though I have a recipe:
One bottle of Redline, one 5hour energy shot drink thing, and a Strawberry Crush. Mix well, and drink.
If that doesn't keep you going and powering you through the weekend, I don't know what will.
