The art itself is based upon a headcanon that I had for Anna early on when I created her. She's a retired US Marine that had a single deployment but left afterwards, not being able to deal with combat too well mentally. It also turned her colder and she keeps herself more removed from the people she's close to, but still cares deeply for them.

I was never sure who to ask for art like this, but Hunglee as an artist has been one of my favorites ever since I stumbled upon him late last year. His art really deserves a lot more eyes on it, because he's got a very distinct style to his work which sits really well with me, and puts a lot of detail into not just the characters but also the props, vehicles and gear that they have. I'm absolutely in love with this piece, and wanna thank him so much for giving me the opportunity to commission him <3
