Clefable POV

The bet had been thrown out… there’s no reason to back down now.
I take a deep breath.
“Togekiss.” I turned to look at her.
“H-huh?”
I gulped, “I want to stay with you.”
She lifted her lowered head, and looking at me shockingly and blushed more.
“I wish I can show you how much I adore you, I’ve been liking you since I saw you.”
“…”
“As you can see, I care much about you…”
“…” She’s lowering her head again, her whole face has reddened.
“I want you to stay happy forever… Please… Give me a chance to make you feel happy forever!”
My words are getting incoherently… Damn, I really should prepare for this moment before I really speak it out, it’s embarrassing now…
We went quiet for a long time, she keeps her head low, but the blushes faded a bit.
Her sudden heavy exhaled shocked me.
“…Togekiss, I didn’t mean to make you to stay here, or love me… I know you, uh, get along with Crobat very well too. I can understand if you had already made up your mind… I can only be a friend, too-”
“…Clefable.”
“H-huh…?”
She’s reaching out to her bandaged wing.
“… Togekiss?”
She torn down the bandage, showing the clear white furs on her wing, a pretty wing without scar or bruises.
“…Your wing?”
“My wing, actually, had cured several days before…”
“Uh? You…”
“I know what you’re about to ask… Why I haven’t leave yet?”
“Y-yea…”
“…” She used a move, what is it? I don’t know…
The scenes inside her memories are playing in my brain like a movie.
There are scenes that she’s with me, and with Crobat, and with either of us…
“When I finally stood up from the pain of being abandoned, I know that if I leave, I couldn’t have my original life back anyway. Instead, Crobat, and you… You showed me that I can have a happy life in this way.”
“I’m not looking for fancy things; I only wish there’s someone care about me… And now, the ones that care about me, is you, and Crobat.”
I inhaled.
“I love Crobat, and I love you too. There’s no differences between you two, in my opinion…” She said quietly, but couldn’t hide the blush.
I nodded, don’t know what she’s trying to say exactly.
“But I can’t decide… I’m afraid that someone will be hurt in this love triangle, so I never tell any of you, plus… I don’t know what you two are feeling about me. So I decided… that I’ll wait and see, if any of you two are going to make a proposal…”
I turned to look at her as those words came into my ears.
She’s levitating infront of me, smiling, not blushing anymore.
“Finally, I got an answer now…” She looks delighted, not shy anymore.
“Togekiss…Does that mean…”
She nodded.
“Togekiss!” I ran to hug her, “Oh, Togekiss…”
“U-uh…” She’s struggling to get away, I realized that I hugged her too tight.
“Oops.” I released her, “Sorry, I’m just… I’m just too happy!”
“Well, I’m happy too…” She landed infront of me, “But I’ll have to tell you something first.”
“Yea, what is it?”
“…I’ll still go out to meet Crobat, he’s my friend anyway.” She lowered her head, “You… You wouldn’t mind about it, right?”
“Ah, so you’re worrying about my feelings?” I chuckled and joking her.
She nodded.
“Ah, Togekiss, you see… I said that I want you to be happy forever, that’s the whole point~ You can do whatever you like, as long as you’re happy~”
“… Clefable…”
“I have no problem, Togekiss~ I know Crobat is important for you too, so, feel free to meet him when you want~”
“…You’re really a nice guy, Clefable…” She flew closer and kissed on my cheek, “Thank you~”
My heartbeat paused a while.
