I thought it would be fun to assemble a 'Pokémon Team' for Yosh so that, where possible, he could be a part of a Pokémon adventure with someone.
Yosh, as most know, is not a very tall dino-duck. He's about the same height of an average BAYLEEF, if not just a hair smaller. (This puts Yosh at 3.6 feet in height)
Yosh may love water, but his adventures in Pokémon started on land with CHIKORITA that, through playing gameswith Yosh, which gave her lots-and-lots of water exposure, helped her evolve into BAYLEEF! They even managed to befriend a HORSEA that, having need for water, occupies one of Yosh's Pokeballs.
Yosh's Bayleef has come to learn the following skills
1: Vine Whip
2: Razor Leaf
3: Cut
4: sunny Day
All of Yosh's Pokémon are provided a special 'mark' to allow other trainers to know that they are his 'Poke Pals'. The mark is akin to being a shiny Pokémon but only those who are in full trust of Yosh acquire it. (Plus Yosh is often mistaken for a Pokémon and has gotten really good at catching errant balls thrown by rogue trainers trying to add him to their team. He accepts apologies in the form of seeds, feed corn, or money in which to buy various supplies and Poke Chow)
