An alternate sona. Don't get me wrong, Lunari's not going anywhere, she's my most established character, but... Lunari was made in 8th grade, over a decade ago; she never really represented me as much as all the things I wanted to be as a teenager riddled with anxiety. Brave, special, thin, popular, etc. She was an imaginary costume I wore to make myself feel better about not liking myself very much. And became a coping mechanism at some point, healthy or not. Since I got the frick out of public school and away from all the fat shaming and bullying, and made REAL friends who aren't toxic, I've come to accept myself a lot more? I've accepted that I don't need to be those things to be happy. So I've been thinking about making a new sona, that isn't also a separate OC with a huge backstory that has nothing to do with my IRL life, for a few years now. I think this is the first time I've felt happy with any attempts!
Also I've needed a way to represent me, the artist, and her, the character, in the same place/time/context, for a while now...
ANYWAY YEAH. Pogoseal. Possibly a selkie, which is my excuse for "I forgot to draw boobs but that's ok because maybe shapeshifter does not want boobs today". Also Irish mythology FTW. Headcanon they get around on land by either rolling, boucing, or scooting along on a reinforced long board haha. Also I'm TERRIFIED OF THE OCEAN ACTUALLY so I am a pool selkie >.>
