I can imagine the hell of working retail during the Wu-Flu.

So I work in a Kroger-family Market Place store in apparel. When this shit first hit I had to go up and cashier on unfamiliar registers for hours for the doomsday preppers, bagging for hours on end plus all of my own day to day job duties. My coworkers have been threatened, harassed, and literally spat on because we had to enforce limitations on products and new policy changes.

We've been dealing with assholes day in and day out because our fitting rooms are closed and we weren't taking returns for about 2 months. Theft has been up and sales have been sky high. The men's department alone (my department) was up 400% in sales on Saturday and 300% on Friday. It's fucking gross. Retail is disgusting enough as it is but the pandemic just makes it that much worse. I will admit though it's nice to have a "stay 6 feet away from me" badge at work though and I can mouth insults under my mask :')

Yeah, I've witnessed the stupid as well even here in Liberal Hell. Those same people with CoExist and Arms are for Hugging along with Teach Tolerance stickers on their cars were the most rude, disgusting and vulgar during the height of the pandemic.

I witnessed anti-2A people suddenly panic buying the very things they HATED cause they were afraid they were going to be attacked by mobs of people wanting to steal their toilet paper and hand sanitizer .
