I had actually been on the fence about doing a herm character; mainly because I wasn't sure about the species. Thankfully I started looking to more exotic/mythological animals and a sphinx seemed most appropriate.

Queen Amunet is an ancient ruler from a long forgotten desert kingdom. Her mother was a lioness said to have bedded a god of the winds, in the shape of a hawk, giving birth to the mighty sphinx empress. She was also worshiped for having mixed parts, both her lion and bird features but also male and female, making her more god-like to be able to "step between both worlds of land and air or male and women". With all this worship however came great pride and vanity in Amunet, always using her power to have whatever or whoever she wanted. Some called her a haven-sent leader, others a carnal craving tyrant.

I guess the opinion lies with whoever she meets. Could be you even X3
