Yes. It has been a long time since I saw that animated feature. Are you aware of the influence on Vaughn Bode's cartoon character 'Cheech Wizard' on tha Wizards wizards?

I can imagine it was a lot. Oddly - when it came out and I was 'oh so young' I loved it... then, about fifteen years later I found it at Blockbuster and couldn't wait to watch it with my son, and it just wasn't the same.

His son, Mark Bode, said in a recent interview, that his father told him that he had just seen the 'Sorcerer's Apprentice' sequence in the FANTASIA animation. Vaughn went right home and started thinking about the huge wizard's hat on Mickey Mouse's head... with only the legs visible. That became the start of the vision of the Cheech Wizard character.
