.......I wonder if it's wrong to get warm fuzzies when viewing pictures that aren't even aimed at myself. I can't help but wonder this after seeing this particular image.
It's the overlaying friendship theme that's exceedingly rare on this site that I happen to enjoy. (As how often am I ever really going to see it?) It's a simple birthday picture, yet, in this case, because it is a simple birthday picture, it has a greater impact. The colors are like and fluffy, as if 'powdered' about on the picture. (If I had to describe it, as if applied lovingly with cotton balls, and then faded for better mood lighting.
Still, it's good it was done this way, as it makes the image have a more lighthearted 'soft' feel to it. Given the coloration of the characters, I say..it was most appropriate. It also helps with the facial expressions.
If I had to caption them, then it would look like you (And the amazingly large bush that is your tail..) could only be captioned with "This is my friend. This is her present. So there. Chu."
Said friend being able to be captioned with a loud and resounding "squeeeee" (The wagging tail isn't letting me think otherwise. It just isn't. ^ ^; Which reminds me. That was also well made, having the motion lines to show that even a..sheep like tail wags when happy.)
(At least I believe she's a sheep/ram)
When I look at it as a whole, it's an absolutely adorable image. So much so that I have to place it in my favorites. It's enjoyable, colorful, and have a strong friendship theme in it which I feel is FAR more than what this site even deserves from you.
As a gift, it's pleasant to the person receiving it.
