Charley is a thief, but mostly a petty thief, so he manages to escape serious consequences most of the time. However, leaving anything edible unattended around him is a terrible idea and it's very hard to prosecute him if there's no evidence of his crimes... unless he's got pizza sauce stains on his face or cookie crumbs on his muzzle and shirt afterwards, of course!
