Gwaeron "Gwae" Sulime Dethemir is a Sidhe, a powerful creature from the magical world of Faerie and a member of the Winter (Unseelie) Court. As a people, the Sidhe have a complex and enigmatic system of morality, quite distant from that of mortal beings, a result of their timeless and immortal natures. Gwae herself, however, is affected by a rare condition known as "Time Madness", making her acutely aware of the passage of time and causality, which has led to her attempting to be more responsible for her actions, and driven an wedge between her and the more traditional members of the Courts of Summer and Winter. But what if this was not the case?
"Dark" Gwae lacks the hesitation and self-doubt of her counterpart, but also the compassion and empathy. A powerful witch of the Arkane, she dominates Winterrule from a Blackstone castle deep in a frozen forest, controlling all she sees on her selfish whims.
I drew this back for "Gwaepril", but hadn't had a chance to properly upload until now, an "evil" version of Gwae as an Alternate Universe Design. This was an alternate version that I ended up making while working on finishing the drawing. I was really happy how her feet came out, so I decided to touch up a barefoot version as well.
