It took a while for the peas at the back of the house to take hold, but once they did there was no stopping them! About two weeks ago the first flowers sprouted at the top of the plants, and a couple of days later the tiniest pea pods began to grow. Now, the flowers may be wilting but the pods have exploded (not literally, I assure you), with dozens on every plant and each filled with loads and loads of peas, growing ever stronger and tastier. They will surely go beautifully with some rice, or as a side to some steak and mashed potatoes.
