While I'm posting fan characters from fandoms that ceased to be relevant years ago... a My Little Pony from 2015.
While my time with the MLP fandom ended on very unpleasant terms, and I made a LOT of mistakes I am still ashamed of to this day in the name of trying to "fit in", I am still in touch with a few of the people I met during my time there to this day, and it was actually the pony fandom that got me started posting art online back in 2011--I had a handful of doodles I was just hosting on Imgur, they suggested I try DeviantArt instead, and I originally had no intention of posting any of my own, personal art online.
Anyways, Shining Moon, one of my MLP fan ponies. I really like how this looks, so I'm archiving it here.

I actually discovered it in early 2011, shortly after my dad died and I suddenly had free time alone during the day and no idea how to fill it, and I saw people talking about "My Little Pony". Oh, like those ugly things my little sister had strewn around her room?
I was surprised to find a show that was decently written and reminded me a bit of cartoons I watched when I was little. I felt kinda awkward watching it, even in the privacy of my bedroom in my empty house, but I'm weird.
I think what I liked about it was, it didn't feel overly insulting, like it was talking down to kids or assuming they were all hyperactive little shits that needed the characters to yell and bounce all over constantly to hold their attention, nor did it feel like it was full of little hidden jokes to entertain the adults forced to sit through an otherwise very bland cartoon for babies--it was just a simple little cartoon with coherent narratives and stuff. I guess, to put it simply, I found it nostalgic.
All that rambling aside, I'm glad you like her! I did end up redesigning her as an anthro character to use in my own universe by the point I drew this, although I have, like, NO good art of her in her anthro form. Maybe I should make her "feral" instead and put her into one of the worlds where a quadrupedal unicorn wouldn't be out of place, and see how that turns out.

Oh wow, so you've known about it since the beginning? Neat! I had maybe seen the first one or two episodes on YouTube and was like "what is this?" Then in 2015-2016 an internet friend was into the show and since then I became, what I call myself, a half brony. I was but wasn't into MLP. I'm still learning new info about the show, even though it had its finale a couple months ago.
But I agree! The show seemed to work well as a show for, really any age to watch. I mean I'm 20 and find some of the songs to be catchy and incredible sounding.
But anywho, now that you mention about ferals.. It makes me wonder how an anthro feral furry world would look. I'm sure it could be possible to have both kinds in one some universe. But I think that she should stay feral. Ponies and horse type creatures just look better when they're on all fours.

I believe the show came out in October 2010, and I remember one of my friends who used to hang out on 4chan talking about it when it was brand new. It's crazy what the internet will latch on to.
When you say "anthro feral furry", do you mean something along the lines of a character that can switch between moving on two legs (like a person) and four legs (like an animal) at will? Or just an anthropomorphic mind in a body that otherwise looks like a normal animal? With my first fantasy world, with the incredibly unique and original name "Geoterra" (that word will show up every so often in my descriptions), I made the mistake of making everything sapient, both the "anthro" and "feral" types, but it was also heavily influenced by magic fighting monster games and everybody grows by evolving to more advanced forms instead of just aging gradually like normal animals and there are even lineages that go from an anthro child to a feral adult back to an anthro "super" form if they're lucky. It's a mess and I'm still trying to untangle what 2004 me did to this day. I did eventually design some non-sapient meat-beast creatures to inhabit that world alongside the magical anthros, though, so now the wolves don't have to eat their deer neighbors unless they *want* to.
I do have some anthro equine characters and I find the hardest part of designing them is their feet--I've played with all sorts of foot designs over the years but never been truly satisfied with any of them.
I've never really been bothered by anthros coexisting with their normal animal counterparts, my mental workaround has always been to basically think of a human as an "anthro monkey", and then think of how not-weird it is for humans and monkeys to coexist and interact, and suddenly dog-people with pet dogs seems no more unusual than a human with a pet monkey.
Sorry for all the insane rambling here, but it's what I do.
