I think this is a great way to follow up the previous image. If you have compassion for yourself, you'll find it easier to stand up for your principles and not compromise with evil. And I find cancel culture to be...well...disgusting to say the least.

You might be wondering, what is cancel culture? Well friend, it's simple. Cancel culture is essentially a weapon of the perpetually offended, designed to push woke politics and political correctness into every part of your life. And it's designed to push out libertarian and conservative views from public spaces.
Let's examine the cancel culture drones in their natural habitat of Twatter. They prowl around looking to destroy someone's life or business...just because that person dared to "think the wrong thing," "follow the wrong people," or said "something offensive." Once detected, the drones swarm the target, calling them "-ist" this and "-phobe" that. Which is followed by demands for apologies. If such demands are not met, they may threaten to ruin the target's career. The drones don't see their target as a person. All they see is an obstacle that needs to be destroyed. It's like the drones' morality was removed, along with any ability to self reflect and ask, "Am I doing the wrong thing?" Fascinating...yet horrifying.
Now you might be thinking, "It's not happening to me or someone I know, so why should I care?" That's an excellent question. Creators and artists especially should care. Do you see what entertainment has become as of late? Nearly all companies are trying to force political correctness into their products and down our unwilling throats. The message has become the product, thus poor sales just mean the consumer hasn't been properly educated. With this mindset, entertainment has been sterilized of creativity. It's why Disney Star Wars, Ghostbusters 2016, and Star Trek Picard failed. There is no heart or soul. No desire to tell a story. Just boxes to check and virtues to signal. And it's not just new content being sterilized. They're going after history by banning Gone with the Wind and Indiana Jones from HBO Max. Of special note is Blazing Saddles, a classic Mel Brooks film. The whole point of the movie is to point out how absurd discrimination is and how it should be openly ridiculed and mocked. But it's always heavily censored when aired, thus giving the censored slurs more power, defeating the purpose of the movie. They're even getting rid of Aunt Jemima. (Defeating racism by removing black people from packaging...brilliant!) Even historical statues are being targeted, their history and lessons sterilized. History, of all things, should never be censored! And entertainment needs a soul! Now it's just cowardly and pandering. Instead of allowing us to escape into a different world, "entertainment" drags us back to depressing reality. We must draw the line here! Or there will come a time when all art is sterilized, and part of that same mass of uninteresting gray goo...of corporate sponsored content. A world without soul...a place not worth living in!
A-ahem! Anywho...now that we understand the drones better, how do we deal with them? Why, with this 3 step program of course!
Step 1 - You never bend the knee or apologize. They may only be drones, but they are bloodthirsty! If they smell blood in the water, they'll whittle you away until there is nothing left...but a bent knee on the ground. They are essentially bullies. And what's the best way to deal with bullies? You stand up to them. Because it's more than just your lunch money at stake here.
Step 2 - You firmly tell them "NO." Or pardon your French and tell them to "F*** off." Think of it like...training a dog or dealing with a child throwing a temper tantrum. Show them their behavior won't be rewarded. They can call you "-ism" this or "-phobe" that until they're blue in the face. Be strong, do not give in, and show them who the adult is. Though you know what could be an even better option? Laugh. Humor is anathema to the perpetually offended drones.
Step 3 - You keep moving forward. Remember, these drones exist primarily to destroy not just the lives of others but their morale as well. Humans have hopes, goals, and dreams. And we don't have time to waste on people who's only pleasure in life is to destroy. The best way to deal with cruel people is to live the best life you possibly can...and avoid them.
Though to be fair, we could add a 4th step here. If people abandoned the cesspool that is social media, cancel culture would dry up almost immediately. But they have infested other media as well. Which means the real 4th step is to go to the hive. And tell these companies they have no right to censor us or our entertainment. It may be time to get the federal government involved to forcibly protect freedom of speech, considering how Facebook, Twitter, and Google have no issues censoring people. We need to take responsibility and do our part to protect our civil liberties and history from the drones.
After these observations, I've noted the drones don't have an end goal of their own. Which isn't too surprising. They follow orders and believe they're doing some kind of nebulous "good" by destroying people. Meaning they will continue to destroy until they are stopped. The hive leaders on the other hand do have a goal. Remember how historical statues and old entertainment are being destroyed or censored without an attempt to understand their meaning? Think on that for a bit.
Alas, this is has been another long entry. (And one of these days I'll be more succinct in my writing.) So let's end this study on a more positive note. Do not fear the drones. Tell your story and build off of what came before you instead of destroying the past. Say what you fear. Say what you believe in. Show us the beauty of love...or show us the most evil of beings. Create and be bold instead of being controlled by shame. Defy those who want to cancel. Because the only thing that should be cancelled is cancel culture. For our children and grandchildren...make the world a better place for all those who come after us.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWHng0m27Cw - This one is a bit more...angry. But he asks a very, very good question at 16:58.
(I could not find a good spot to put this, so it's just gonna be here at the end.) I heard a great observation about cancel culture. The drones believe they are the "rebellion" and fighting against the evil empire. But all of the corporations are in favor of this stuff. The drones are backed by multinational conglomerates. They are the evil empire!

My way of dealing in cancel culture is to not participate in it.
I mean, I violently disagree with every political opinion I know you have, but I won't unwatch you, nor tell others to do the same. When I discuss your views with others, I withhold your identity, so as to avoid you getting dogpiled.

Atticus, this has been a VERY inspiring piece, and Amber looks lovely of course. I really hope that nowadays you still stand by these principles. The part about how cancel culture is used to push out libertarian and conservative points of view... very true.
I only disagree with you in the part about getting the government involved in freedom of speech. This is because getting them involved will result in them allowing only the speech they agree with, and censoring everything they disagree with. A free market approach to take away Big Tech's oligopoly is a better approach.
The "Do not fear the drones." paragraph... I will take it to heart. Let the wokesters try to cancel as much as they want. I will never bend the knee.
