This is a great pic, but it reminded me of something I've been meaning to say, have you ever considered adjusting the contrast on your sketches after you've scanned them? This one in particular is quite light and getting a little tricky to see, it could be improved a lot just by tweaking the contrast/brightness just a smidge.
