The cutest mollusk out of the sea! =3
A very beautiful reference sheet of Brio from
Silencing !
As mentioned last time they showed up, this cute little sea slug is a hermaphrodite! Despite often defaulting masculine, she hasn't got a lot of attachment or preference between traditional gender roles or pronouns, especially given the wide range of fashions that look good on that adorable frame, so he/she/they are all acceptable to 'em~
Brio's an interesting soul for sure. At times the sweetest thing, even gentle, but also capable of surprising violence and sadism on a bad day. Vincent and the rest of his family are doing their very best to keep those days to a minimum now though, and to give Brio some valuable life skills and lessons. Of course, as many of their first lessons were in crime and the tools of getting what you want, the family feels a bit responsible in the first place, but recent circumstances have prompted a focal shift from mafia enterprises to musical ones. Fortunately, he's quite adaptable and quick to learn, traits which have helped in business and in the band, not to mention in bed. ;3
In his off time, Brio enjoys Legos, Nintendo games, Disney movies, live theater, swimming, and lots of cuddling. Especially when those things can be shared with his lovers, or with good friends.
Alright, I'm sure you've all heard this a lot by now, but I'm seriously in love with this design! My sluggo looks so freakin' cute, and I think this is an awesome adaptation of an invertebrate into a perfectly plausible aquatic anthro! As always, Silencing was a real joy to work with, with plenty of opportunities for review and feedback as we worked out just how he was going to look. The overall design is so pretty, his body is really great with its proportioning and placements. And I'm so happy with all the individual details, like those adorable heart pads and the subtle showing off of his flexible 'horns.' And such a wonderful tongue he's got! Maybe it's just the species, but somehow it feels a little different than the average reptilian forked tongue.
I'm so happy with how he came out, and I really love it all! Thank you again! <3
