Thank you! I'm still surprised. The unconventional inking style was evolved in desperation -- from never expecting (at age 13) to be able to develop the skills of traditional clear-line comic book inking. Doing inking magazine cartoon style became a refuge.
Only recently (over the last 10 years) have I realized that I misjudged what I may have been able to learn in traditional inking skills. I had enough ability if I learned how to learn it, and did the work. But I have become comfortable with my variations. (I also know from personal experience, that it is still possible to get out of inking practice, even in this style!)
